01About this notice
This notice explains how CROSYN Infrastructure PTE LTD (“CROSYN”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the operator of the CROSYN Infrastructure website, handles personal data connected with this website and enquiries sent to us.
We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the “PDPA”) and any other data protection laws that apply to us.
This notice applies to visitors to the website and to people who contact us about our services. Personal data shared as part of an agreed engagement may also be covered by the terms of that engagement.
For privacy questions, contact contact@crosyn.com.
02Personal data we may receive
If you contact us, we may receive:
- your name and your role or job title;
- your organisation and business contact details, such as your email address and telephone number;
- the content of your message, including any information about an opportunity or project that you choose to share; and
- records of our correspondence with you.
When you visit the website, our hosting and security services may automatically process technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the date and time of each request and the referring page. This information is held in server and security logs and is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal data or confidential project documents in an initial enquiry. The website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children.
03How we use personal data
We use personal data for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, namely to:
- respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it;
- assess and discuss a possible engagement with you or your organisation;
- maintain business correspondence and records;
- operate, maintain and protect the website, including detecting and preventing misuse; and
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use personal data collected through this website for advertising or automated decision-making.
Any engagement is subject to separate agreement.
04Consent and withdrawal
By contacting us, you consent to our collecting, using and disclosing the personal data you provide for the purposes described in this notice. Where the PDPA permits us to rely on another basis, such as legitimate interests or a legal obligation, we do so only to the extent the law allows.
If you provide personal data about another person, such as a colleague, please make sure you are authorised to do so.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. We will explain the likely consequences, which may include our being unable to continue responding to your enquiry. Withdrawal does not affect processing that the law permits without consent.
05Service providers and disclosure
We share personal data only where it is needed for the purposes in this notice. Recipients may include:
- service providers that host and secure the website and provide email and information technology services to us, acting on our instructions;
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, who are bound by duties of confidentiality;
- other parties to a project or engagement, where you have asked us to involve them or have agreed to it; and
- courts, regulators or other authorities, where we are required or permitted by law to disclose it.
We require our service providers to protect personal data and to use it only to provide their services to us.
06International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process personal data outside Singapore. When we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we take appropriate steps, such as contractual safeguards, so that it continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
08Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required for legal or business purposes, such as keeping records of correspondence and meeting legal, accounting and regulatory requirements.
When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it. Server and security logs held by our service providers are kept for limited periods set by those services.
09Security
We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification and disposal, and we limit access to people who need it for their work.
No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please take appropriate care when sending information to us by email.
10Accuracy
We rely on you to provide accurate personal data. Please tell us if your contact details change or if you believe that information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete.
11Your requests
Subject to the PDPA, you may ask us to:
- give you access to personal data about you that we hold, and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
- correct an error or omission in personal data about you; and
- stop collecting, using or disclosing your personal data, by withdrawing your consent.
To make a request, contact contact@crosyn.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible. Where the PDPA allows, we may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will tell you about it in advance.
If you have a concern about how we handle personal data, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
